The banjolele (aka ukulele-banjo or banjo-ukulele) has four strings tuned like an ukulele and is the smallest of the banjos. It may look like a toy, but can be a proper tool for a working musician.

Sometimes you can see older banjoleles with a fifth string added and converted into piccolo banjos.
